Mike Elton
Mike Elton is the Chief Executive Officer of Advantage+, leading the company with a strong background in finance, operations, and business development. He took over as President in 2020, succeeding his father, Larry Elton, who continued to serve as CEO and Chairman until his passing in 2021.
Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1991. After graduating, he worked as a marketing analyst for Success Business Industries before venturing into entrepreneurship. In 1995, he partnered with his brother, Keith, to own and operate Mike’s Ice, a wholesale ice manufacturing and distribution business, which they successfully sold in 1999.
Mike joined Advantage+ shortly after, beginning in the collections department before transitioning to sales in 2001. His leadership skills and industry expertise led to his promotion to Vice President of Sales in 2005, the same year he was named to the company’s management team. Under his leadership, Advantage+ continues to provide small businesses with accessible and reliable financing solutions.

Kristin Oberholtzer
Kristin Oberholtzer serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Secretary of Advantage+, bringing decades of experience in financial operations and leadership. She earned a B.A. in Business Administration and Finance from Carroll University and has been an integral part of Advantage+ since 1995.
Throughout her tenure, Kristin has held multiple key roles, including portfolio manager in collections, marketing manager, litigation coordinator, operations manager, vice president of operations, and executive vice president. In her current position, she oversees company operations and strategic initiatives, managing four departments to drive efficiency and growth. Kristin’s extensive expertise and dedication contribute to the continued success of Advantage+ in serving small businesses nationwide.

Deeply committed to community service, Lynn has held leadership roles such as past president of the YWCA of Greater Milwaukee and facilitator for the Living Well with Chronic Conditions program. She is also an active participant, fund developer, and team leader within the Parkinson’s Program at Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Beyond her role at Advantage+, Lynn serves as a Master Gardener Volunteer with the UW-Extension, chairs the Facilities and Grounds Committee for a local homeowners’ association, and volunteers at the New Berlin Food Pantry.

With a career spanning over four decades, Steve joined the Zilber organization in 1978 after spending seven years as a Tax Manager at Deloitte Haskins & Sells (now Deloitte & Touche LLP). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting) and a Master’s Degree in Taxation from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. A dedicated leader, Steve is a past president and member of the Tax Executives Institute-Wisconsin Chapter and remains active in the AICPA, WICPA, and the Rotary Club of Milwaukee.
Steve continues to serve on the Boards of Directors for Zilber Ltd. and Affiliates, iTeam Companies, Inc., Advantage Leasing Corporation, the Joseph and Vera Zilber Family Foundation, Inc., and the World Affairs Seminar. His commitment to service extends to volunteer work with St. Francis Children’s Center, United Way, the Rotary Club of Milwaukee, and the World Affairs Seminar.

Steve brings more than 50 years of expertise in commercial banking, equipment leasing, and finance. Throughout his career, he has founded over 20 businesses in these industries and has served as an investment banker for the regional firm Blunt Ellis & Loewi. In addition to managing three private investment funds focused on micro-cap banks and thrifts, Steve plays a key role in shaping the financial landscape for smaller financial institutions.
Beyond his involvement with Advantage+, Steve serves as a director for GulfShore Bancshares, Inc. and GulfShore Bank in Tampa, as well as Ovation Holdings and its banking subsidiary, Encore Bank, N.A., in Naples. He is also a director of Eberle Communications Group, Inc., a direct mail marketing firm based in McLean, Virginia.
Dedicated to community service, Steve is the chairman of the board and a director of WELS Investment Funds, Inc., overseeing more than $165 million in assets for congregations and affiliates of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. Additionally, he is a member of the endowment committee for Wisconsin Lutheran College. Steve holds an AB in Political Science and Economics from Marquette University.
